CUSTOM MACHINING

IDA Machining specializes in machining linear shafting - also known as bearing rod, bearing shafting, round shaft / round rod, precision ground polished and hardened steel rod, RC 60 steel bearing shafting. We take case hardened C1060 steel and 440C stainless steel, linear bearing shafting and machine with standard options such as pre-drilled holes, end tapped holes (coaxial holes) or end threads. But IDA does custom machining on this precision bearing shafting to include: slots, keyways, grooves and more!

IDA also does custom machining per print with a variety of materials. From a few pieces to 1000's, IDA strives to offer a perfect finished part in a timely fashion.

All machines at IDA are state-of-the art CNC lathes and mills with high-speed tool changers to ensure maximum output. Every machine operator has over a decade of programming and production experience with a variety of materials such as aluminum alloys, carbon steels and stainless steels. These machinists work for you, carefully programming prints and performing parts inspection during production to ensure consistent quality. These skilled individuals can handle projects of all shapes and sizes.
